27th, September 2018

There is huge interest in the WBSS Super Middleweight Final in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from local fans and the international expat community.

Thursday morning the pupils at the British International School in Jeddah got a unique chance to take a close look at the trophy which will be raised by either George Groves or Callum Smith on Friday at the Indoor Sports Hall.

“It was a great honour to have the Muhammad Ali Trophy at the British International School in Jeddah,” said the school’s headmaster Rex Geissler.

Some of the young school students spontaneously began shadow boxing and hugging the Greatest Prize in Boxing when they saw the trophy.

“I know both the pupils and staff appreciated the opportunity to view the trophy and attend the event,” said Geissler. “We wish the World Boxing Super Series every success with the final of their Super Middleweight Tournament on Friday and hope they return to Jeddah with another big event.”

Fans in the UK can watch Groves vs Smith LIVE on ITV Box Office. Ringwalks for the final will be at 9.00 pm UK time. Registration is open at itvboxoffice.com.

Fans in the U.S. can watch LIVE on DAZN, the global sports streaming platform. To sign up for a one-month free trial, fans can visit DAZN.com or download the DAZN app to their preferred connected device.
